We are

    a Bulgarian company specialised in consulting services and the preparation of investment infrastructure designs, established in 2006, with headquarters in the city of Sofia. We were established with the aim of meeting the needs of design and consulting services to be provided in the transport sector and in particular in the rail sector in Bulgaria and abroad. In recent years EUROTRANSPROJECT Ltd. has been awarded and has implemented numerous large- and smaller-scale projects in the country and within the region, quickly becoming one of the leading design companies offering comprehensive design of transport facilities in Bulgaria. Since 2015, the company has been licensed as a consultant and has been carrying out Conformity Assessment of investment projects and construction supervision having already completed several projects in the field.

     In the course of its existence EUROTRANSPROJECT has partnered with and gained the trust of some major construction and design companies on the European market and has successfully collaborated with them on the development, management, and supervision of large-scale projects.

    At the same time, our team introduces, explores, and continuously improves state-of-the-art methods of design in order to always keep abreast of the technological advancements in the field, acquiring skills that we successfully apply in our work and strive to deliver again and again top-quality projects to our clients in Bulgaria and abroad within the agreed time limits.

 

    For the preparation of all designs, EUROTRANSPROJECT Ltd. involves a team of over 120 experts in all parts of the project and over 40 experts in the field of construction supervision with the topmost qualification, who have proven their ability to successfully handle comprehensive rail projects. The permanent and outsourced staff of EUROTRANSPROJECT Ltd. covers all parts of the design activities and consulting services performed by the company.

Ivan Georgiev Zdravchev

Assoc. Prof. Zdravchev has extensive experience in geodetic measurements – he handles both standard and the latest geodetic instruments and has specialised in Switzerland and Russia in the field of GPS measurements, geodetic control networks and geodynamics;

      He is fluent in geodetic systems transformation software, processing of geodetic measurements, and has also published a GPS user manual, funded by the PHARE program, for training of regional cadastral offices. Together with Prof. Dr. Eng. Mara Daskalova he has also published a textbook on Mathematical Geodesy.

    He has long-standing experience in the management of rail and road projects as well as in the creation of cadastral maps and cadastral registers; the elaboration of numerous detailed development plans of various sites mostly related to rail infrastructure; the preparation of LGN (Local Geodetic Network) and GB (Geodetic Basis); works with CAD software products, and those for elaborating specialised and cadastral maps in the field of linear infrastructure.

    He is well acquainted with the Bulgarian legislation and regulations in the field of spatial planning, geodesy and cadastre. He has been a member of working groups for the amendment of the Cadastre and Land Register Act and has participated in the creation of numerous regulations to various acts. He has been a reviewer of Ordinances No 3 and No 15 of the Cadastre and Land Register Act, as well as the State GPS Network.

    He is the founder and first Chairperson of the Bulgarian Association of Surveying Companies. He is currently the Chairperson of the Bulgarian Association of Consulting Companies in Railway Construction. He is a member of the Chamber of Graduated Surveyors and the Chamber of Engineers in the Investment Design. He is also the holder of a license from the Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Agency.

Valentin Petrov Mihaylovski

Eng. Mihaylovski is a Civil Enginer with Master’s Degree in Transport Engineering and specialisation in Rail Construction.

He has more than 35 years of experience in designing railway lines, railway stations, and roads.

    He has participated in the development of new and the reconstruction of existing railway sites on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia. He has developed feasibility, preliminary, technical and detailed designs for railways and roads.

    He is well versed in the technology of utilising precise methods in laying, aligning and installing the railway track on design axes and level.

    He works well with CAD software products as well as with surveying tools.

He is a long-term member of the Chamber of Engineers in the Investment Design as well as the National Guild Society of Railway Track Engineers.

Toma Lyubenov Yotsov

Eng. Yotsov graduated from the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Sofia in 1978 and is a holder of a diploma in Railway Construction.

He has more than 40 years of experience as an expert and manager in the field of rail design and construction. He is well versed in the research and analysis of existing and new railway lines and facilities. He is a specialist in design and construction of various types of operating points in railway transport – passenger and freight stations, shunting yards, intermodal terminals, railway junctions, complex transport systems, etc.

    Eng. Yotsov has extensive experience in the implementation and management of transport projects with European funding. He has repeatedly acted as a key expert, design team leader and project manager. He is familiar with the Bulgarian and European transport regulations and has successfully applied them in his developments.

He has been involved in the management of EUROTRANSPROJECT Ltd. since 2006, being one of the three Managing Directors of the company. He is a member of the Management Boards of the Bulgarian Association of Consulting Companies in Railway Construction and of the National Guild Society of Railway Track Engineers.

 

The company has the capability to provide a full range of rail infrastructure design services, allowing it complete independence, autonomy and the ability to meet the demands of complex projects, as well as the ability to respond in a timely manner to changes in design parameters or client requirements.

       In addition, a key feature of the company is to maintain the highest product quality while meeting all design deadlines and working in full compliance with local and European rail and transport infrastructure regulations. In all the years since its establishment and the dozens of projects the company has completed, these priorities remain unchanged and are strictly adhered to.
